theRubixon

Welcome to theRubixon (pronounced rubicon)

– a media production company focused on the future of consumer entertainment. I believe that great storytelling combined with a comprehensive understanding of media platforms and consumer use create the conditions to imagine and build new and compelling entertainment experiences across the commercial media landscape. This runs the gamut from episodic narrative to VR to web-based viewer-interactive storytelling. The internet offers the viewer of the future to enjoy traditional modalities of narrative entertainment as well as the potential to transcend linear time-based narrative. At theRubixon I am committed to maturing narrative and narrative structure as non-material technologies for the purpose of engaging the active and inter-active viewer.
